1632 Burlington Street – Fire Systems Upgrades

“Sealed Tenders” clearly marked as to their contents, will be received at the Hamilton Port Authority office, 6th Floor, 605 James St. North, Hamilton, for the     1632 Burlington Street – Fire Systems Upgrades, before:

14:00:00 hrs (2:00PM) on Tuesday, February 19th, 2019

The project includes tee connection to existing fire main, supply and installation of approximately 640 metres of new fire water main, including laterals to buildings and hydrants, installation of new PIV valves, new sprinkler risers inside the building to connect to existing risers, road restoration as required, and off-site disposal of excess soils.

There is an optional Bidder’s Site Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 13th @ 10am at the Project Site.  Please note, the site is inside a gated property.  Contact the undersigned to arrange for entry through the gates.

Tender Documents will be available for purchase starting Thursday, February 7th, 2019 at Hamilton Port Authority’s office.  There is a $50 (including HST) non-refundable fee for the purchase of the CD containing the Tender Documents (specifications and drawings).  Payment shall be by cash or cheque made payable to the Hamilton Port Authority.

All bids must be accompanied by bonding and proof of insurance as per the contract documents.

The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

Pier 23 & Pier 26 – Railway Grade Crossing Reconstructions

“Sealed Tenders” clearly marked as to their contents, will be received at the Hamilton Port Authority office, 6th Floor, 605 James St. North, Hamilton, for the Pier 23 & Pier 26 –Railway Grade Crossing Reconstructions, before:

14:00:00 hrs (2:00PM) on Thursday, February 14th, 2019

The project includes two existing crossings – demolition of existing crossings, including asphalt, wood or composite ties, rail, and existing granular; installation of full depth concrete panels, new granular base, new rail, as well as provision of additional rail track re-surfacing

There is an optional Bidder’s Site Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 6th @ 10am.  Meeting place is the corner of Strathearne Avenue North @ Pier 24 Gateway. Hardhats, safety vests, steel toe boots are required.
