PIER 10 – BURLINGTON\WELLINGTON RAIL GRADE CROSSING RECONSTRUCTION

“Sealed Tenders” clearly marked as to their contents, will be received at the Hamilton Port Authority office, 6th Floor, 605 James St. North, Hamilton, for the Pier 10 – Burlington\Wellington Rail Grade Crossing Reconstruction before:   

14:00:00 hrs (2:00PM) on Thursday, July 4th, 2019

The project includes reconstruction of 35m track metres of rail in concrete, including traffic control, new concrete curb, asphalt paving.

There is an optional Bidder’s Site Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 25th @ 10am.  Bidders are requested to meet at 221 Burlington Street East parking lot.

Tender Documents will be available for purchase starting Tuesday, June 18th, 2019 at Hamilton Port Authority’s office.  There is a $50 non-refundable fee for the purchase of the CD containing the Tender Documents (specifications and drawings).  Payment shall be by cash or cheque made payable to the Hamilton Port Authority.

All bids must be accompanied by bonding and proof of insurance as per the contract documents.

The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

PIER 12 EMERALD ST. NORTH SURFACE IMPROVEMENTS

“Sealed Tenders” clearly marked as to the contents, will be received at the Hamilton Port Authority office, 6th Floor, 605 James St. North, Hamilton, for the Pier 12 – Emerald St. North Surface Improvements project, until:  

1400 hrs (2:00PM EST) on Tuesday, July 9th, 2019

The General Contractor’s scope of work includes the following major components of the project:

  • Clearing and grubbing
  • Existing asphalt pavement removal
  • Excavation of existing unpaved areas and backfill with asphalt grindings
  • Supply and install new concrete curbs and curb outlets
  • Relocate existing light pole
  • Supply and install new asphalt pavement (+/- 1890 m²)

There is a Bidder’s Site Meeting scheduled on Thursday, June 27th, 2019 @ 10am.
