Welcome Aboard!

Welcome to the newest members of our HPA team:

Jeremy Dunn, Commercial Vice President

Jeremey comes to HPA from the Miller Group, one of Canada’s leading vertically integrated construction materials and civil infrastructure companies. He most recently served as General Manager of Miller Maintenance, responsible for managing and growing their highway maintenance business in Ontario.

Emily Graham, Communications and Community Coordinator

Emily comes to HPA from IBI Group, a globally integrated design and technology firm, the largest in Canada and the sixth largest in the world. She began her career with IBI in 2011 as the Administrative and Communications Assistant, and most recently held the position of Content & Community Specialist, Global Communications.

Gina Delle Rose-Ash, Business Development Analyst

Gina comes to HPA from the St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation, where she held the position of Market Development Specialist. Previous to the Seaway, Gina held the position of Fund Development Officer with the Alzheimer Society Niagara Foundation and Fundraising Coordinator with the Canadian Cancer Society.

Michael Peace, Special Projects Analyst

Michael comes to HPA from the McMaster University Incubator (The Forge) where he held the position of Business Development Manager. Previous to McMaster, he held the roles of Business Development Manager with Communitech, General Manager with the Grand Erie Business Centre, and Sales and Operations Manager with Dx3 Canada.

Jeff Lee, Maintenance Generalist

Jeff comes to HPA from Liburdi Automation Inc., where he held the position of Facility Maintenance. Jeff is a graduate of the Electric Fundamentals and General Machining Program at Mohawk College, he is a Certified Gas Technician and holds numerous licenses/certificates.

Melissa Melanson, Design & Construction Co-op

Mellissa is completing a 4-month co-op placement at HPA assisting out Design and Construction team. She is currently enrolled in the Civil Engineering Technology program at Mohawk College.

Lynda Trudell, Communications Assistant

Lynda comes to HPA as a graduate of Mohawk College having completed the Public Relations program in 2018. Previous to HPA Lynda completed her communications internship with Synapse Life Science Consortium and earned her Bachelor of Economics through McMaster University.

It is with warm wishes we announce the retirements of:

Bob Hart, Chief Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary

Bob’s career began 30+ years ago with The Hamilton Harbour Commission. Throughout his career, the entire organization has truly benefited from Bob’s extensive knowledge of all things Port related. His sound advice and extraordinary understanding of HPA’s business has been instrumental in helping advance the port to where it is today.

Ray Halliday, Carpenter

Since 2005, Ray has worked with the marina/maintenance team as HPA’s resident carpenter (and mast hoist expert). Ray has been an integral part of HPA since joining the team, his amazing carpentry skills along with his dedication to HPA will be greatly missed.

Sharon Clark, Community Relations Manager

As Community Relations Manager, Sharon has worked tirelessly as an ambassador of the Port. She has built and sustained relationships with a number of community members, not-for-profits, and port partners in order to make positive contributions to the surrounding community.
