REfficient

REfficient is a marketplace allowing companies to buy quality Telecom and A/V equipment at significant discounts from sustainable sources. REfficient is a matchmaking solution connecting “who has what” and “who is looking for what”. Customers can also receive sustainability statistics – such as waste diversion rates and the estimated carbon footprint – and ensure non-reusable product is responsibly recycled.We show our customers that they can drive financial results while doing something good for the environment – all through equipment that they or another company no longer needs

Biox

Biox designed, built and operates a 67 million L/yr biodiesel facility at the Port of Hamilton. The company’s unique process converts corn and waste food oil into biodiesel. For more information, please visit www.bioxcorp.com.

Wind Energy

The Port of Hamilton is well-located for the shipment of wind power generation components to project site throughout southern and southwestern Ontario. In 2015, more than 2,500 cubic meters of wind power components transited the port.
