2010 tournament a success!
The 7th Annual Hamilton Port Days Golf Tournament was indeed a success.
On behalf of the entire Hamilton Port Authority staff we would like to thank all who participated. Your contribution added to the success of the event and we hope your experiences throughout the day were positive.
We would like to express special thanks to the St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation – HWY H2O, our official cart sponsor; Rankin Construction Inc., our dinner sponsor; Bitumar, our premier hole sponsor and Brady Financial/McMahon Chapman, McKeil Marine and Lafarge North America – Hamilton Slag who sponsored our specialty holes.
This year we had the added opportunity and challenge of not one but two "Hole in One" prize holes thanks to the sponsorship of AON and McKeil Marine. Unfortunately, no one achieved this in 2010 but who knows, maybe next year!
With a perfect day for golf - sunshine and pleasant temperatures, everyone enjoyed a day of golf, dinner and prizes. The biggest winners though were the charities, Mission to Seafarers and the North Hamilton Community Health Centre. We are still calculating the total to be distributed and will share that as soon as it is available.
