2011 Golf Tournament
The 8th Annual Hamilton Port Days Golf Tournament was indeed a success.
On behalf of the entire Hamilton Port Authority board and staff we would like to thank you for your participation. Whether you had the opportunity to golf or sponsored our tournament, your contribution added to the success of the event and we hope your experience was a positive one.
We would like to express special thanks to the St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation – HWY H2O, our official cart sponsor, Dean Construction our lunch sponsor, Rankin Construction our dinner sponsor, PriceWaterhouse Coopers our dinner wine sponsor, Bitumar, our premier hole sponsor and Colliers International, Dean Construction, Parrish & Heimbecker, and Ross & McBride who sponsored our specialty holes. Thanks as well, to all our hole sponsors. Without the involvement of each of you, our event would not be the same.
For a second year we had the added opportunity/challenge of not one but two “Hole in One’s” thanks to the sponsorship of AON and McKeil Marine. Unfortunately, no one achieved this in 2011 but who knows, maybe next year!

The biggest winners, though, were the charities, Mission to Seafarers and City Kidz. We are pleased to announce that the total raised was $17,657.81. The Hamilton Port Authority will top up the amount so that each of our charities will receive $9,000.00!!
