Full-service event planner for Association of Canadian Port Authorities (ACPA) 2012 National Conference
The Hamilton Port Authority (HPA) invites proposals from qualified firms for a full service event planner to arrange the 54th Association of Canadian Port Authorities AGM and National Conference.
The event will take place August 19-22, 2012 in Hamilton, Ontario. The agency will be expected to deliver on all facets of the event including pre-event planning, negotiating hotel rates, conference registration, AV, décor, music, theme execution, entertainment and catering.

Pier 25 — Maintenance Dredging 2010
Sealed Tenders clearly marked as to the contents, will be received at the Hamilton Port Authority (HPA) office, 6th floor, 605 James St. North, Hamilton, for Pier 25 — Maintenance Dredging 2010, until:
1200 hrs Friday, August 6, 2010
The project consists of dredging approximately 32,000 m³ of sediment from Hamilton Harbour adjacent to Pier 25 in the Port of Hamilton and completion of one of two options for the dewatering of dredgeate.
Option A will employ the construction of dyked containment cells for temporarily stockpiling the dredged material to allow for natural dewatering by evaporation.
Option B will involve construction of a dredgeate dewatering facility, supply and use of an absorbent additive, and offsite disposal of the dewatered dredgeate.
Selection of the option to be used for dewatering is at the sole discretion of HPA.
Tender Documents will be available on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at HPA's Office. There is a $75 non-refundable fee, by cash or cheque made payable to Hamilton Port Authority for the documents.
All bids must be accompanied by bonding and proof of insurance as per the contract documents.
The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.

Quai 25 — Dragage d'entretien 2010
Pour le dragage d'entretien 2010 du Quai 25, le bureau de l'Administration portuaire de Hamilton (APH) situé au 605, rue James Nord, 6e étage, Hamilton, recevra les « soumissions cachetées » dont le contenu est clairement indiqué, jusqu'à :
12 h 00 le vendredi 6 août 2010
Le projet consiste à draguer environ 32 000 m³ de sédiments dans le havre de Hamilton jouxtant le Quai 25 du port de Hamilton et à exécuter l'une des deux options pour l'assèchement des matériaux dragués.
L'option A comprendra la construction de cellules de retenue poldérisées pour l'empilage temporaire du matériel dragué afin de permettre un assèchement naturel par évaporation.
L'option B comprendra la construction d'une installation d'assèchement des matériaux dragués, la fourniture et l'utilisation d?un additif absorbant, et l'élimination hors site des matériaux de dragage asséchés.
L'APH se réserve le droit, à sa seule discrétion, de choisir l'option à utiliser pour l'assèchement.
Le dossier d'appels d'offre sera disponible le jeudi 15 juillet 2010 au bureau de l'APH. Des frais non remboursables de 75 $, payables en argent comptant ou par chèque à l'ordre de l'Administration portuaire de Hamilton, sont exigés pour le dossier.
Toutes les soumissions doivent être accompagnées d'un dépôt de caution et d'une preuve d'assurance, conformément aux documents contractuels.
La soumission la plus basse ou toute autre soumission ne sera pas obligatoirement retenue.
